The Iguazu Falls are located on the border between Brazil and Argentina. The photographer has used a slow shutter speed, which softens the look of the falling water, making it appear almost like smoke. The falls are one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and were thought to have been "discovered" by the Spanish explorer Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca in 1541.
