Recognisable by its beautiful orange and black striped fur coat, each tiger's marking are completely unique- just like our fingerprints. The largest of the big cat species, a tiger can grow well over three metres in length (including its tail!) Ferocious meat eaters, tigers mostly lead solitary lives, with each preferring their own territory to minimise competition for food and to protect their cubs.
